Plaid Shift Dress / Lace-Up Block Heels - All Dressed Up

Plaid Shift Dress / Lace-Up Block Heels

It's officially fall, and I'm so excited to be sharing my first fall look of the year! I'm absolutely loving this Maggy London plaid A-Line shift dress, and can't wait to wear it all season long.

This dress.. I'm just obsessed with the shape, the bright colors, the plaid pattern, everything! Earlier in the day when it was a bit chillier, I paired it with a cardigan and flats and it looked great dressed down with extra layers. A cute fall dress you can easily take from day to night?! Yes please!

Shopping at the beginning of fall, I feel like you find mostly dark, neutral colors. So I love how this dress is still very 'fall' while also managing to be bright and colorful! Now for the shoes.. oh my gosh. SO cute! I'm obsessed with them, first of all because (as I said) they're so cute, and second of all because they're so comfortable!

You all know I don't usually opt for heels, but thanks to the block heel, soft fabric, and extra support with the lace-up detail I frequently wear them all night with no complaints. The only other comment I have is that of course I took most of these photos without noticing that I laced them up completely un-evenly. OOPS. But another great thing about them is that they still look great, even if you pull a me and lace them up without comparing the height!

With it being the start of fall and almost October, I've of course been putting together a long list of fall activities I need to get done/can't wait to do. Next week I head home to Charleston (YAY I can't wait!!) and am excited to check one off- pumpkin picking at Boone Hall Plantation! It opens this weekend, and I can't wait to go once I'm home!

Do you all have any fall themed activities planned for the weekend? Any thoughts on uneven lace-ups being the great new trend for the season? Okay I know that last one is probably a no but I can pretend at least for a minute I did it on purpose right? Hah!

As always, you can shop this look below! XOXO
