Sunday Funday Mimosa Bar - All Dressed Up

Sunday Funday Mimosa Bar

Looking to plan an impromptu Sunday Funday brunch? In today's post, I'm outlining everything you will need for your impromptu get-together, including this ADORABLE tee from Collectively Kate!

The best part about the weekend? Planning spontaneous get-togethers with friends! When I received this tee from Collectively Kate for a shoot I was working on with Liz of Charleston Weekender (see it here!) I tried it on and felt immediately like I needed a mimosa in hand. Thus, brunch inspiration struck!

If you're looking for more elaborate and less impromptu brunch ideas, you can check out this post featuring the tropical pool party brunch I threw with Charleston Weekender, Charleston Flower Girl, Dandy Boutique, Mary Beth Creates, Event Haus, and Sweetgrass Properties!

The good thing about brunch planning is that you can make the details as elaborate or as simple as you would like.. in my opinion, as long as you have champagne, orange juice, and some kind of snack, you're all set!

To make a cute mimosa bar, it doesn't have to sport Pinterest-worthy decorations! For this one, I already had everything I needed around the house. I have to say, when I picked up this acrylic pitcher on sale at Walmart for a few dollars I knew I couldn't pass it up, but I really had no idea how much I would use it!

A pitcher is such a simple way to make your tablescape look perfectly curated (even if you set it up in only a few minutes)! I had bought these bowls from Kate Spade with no real plans of how or when to use them, basically just thinking they were cute. I'm so glad that I did though, because they were under $10 and always add that extra bit of detail to a table!

Never passing up the opportunity to party plan, I always seem to have plastic wine/champagne glasses lying around. They always seem to come in handy! If you want to add that extra bit of detail, you could add a sticker station to your brunch bar for guests to add their initial or name with chalk on a chalkboard label!

Strawberries are a great fruit to always have in the fridge because a. they're delicious,  b. they're a great impromptu summer party snack and c. they're a great garnish for cocktails! And of course, as the saying goes, "Always keep a bottle of champagne in the fridge for special occasions.. sometimes the special occasion is that you've got a bottle of champagne in the fridge".

What are your must-have items for a mimosa/brunch bar? What items do you like to keep in the fridge for impromptu get-togethers? I'd love to hear your answers in the comments below!

And don't forget to check out this perfect 'Sunday Funday' tee from Collectively Kate- it's only $18!
