Friday Favorites - All Dressed Up

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! To celebrate (as I do most Fridays) I'm sharing a list of my favorite things from this week like what I've been watching, reading, and who I'm loving on Instagram!

Definitely on my favorites this week, is this gorgeous tote bag! I have this problem where I find the need to have all of my bags.. or ya know, everything in my life, monogrammed. "If it's not moving, monogram it" aka the motto of my life.

What I'm Reading

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover.. I literally could not put this book down. As you know, I do a lot of my reading while on flights back and forth from St. Louis to Charleston. This read was so good, I could barely tear my eyes off of the screen to answer the flight attendant on whether I wanted peanuts or not. Usually I go for Girl On The Train, or Gone Girl similar reads, but this one was recommended to me on my Kindle and had such good reviews, I couldn't resist. Here is a little synopsis via Google Books! Also, keep tissues handy..

"At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.

Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

A passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance, Maybe Someday will immerse readers in Sydney’s tumultuous world from the very first page."

What I'm Watching

Brian and I have been so hooked watching Fixer Upper on Netflix lately! We had a rare Sunday with no work, no laundry, no nothing, so of course we decided to take advantage of the day and spend it curled up on the couch watching Netflix. I had told Brian a little bit about the show, but it didn't seem like anything he would be remotely interested in.

When we pulled up the screen, it was the first on my "recently watched" and he offhandedly said that we could watch an episode if I wanted to. I said uhmm heck yes and to my surprise, he got so into it! I had watched episodes here and there on TV, but it's a lot better on Netflix with no commercial interruptions. If you're an HGTV fan, or even if you're not (aka Brian), it's a must watch!

Who I'm Loving on Instagram

With the warm weather is setting in, also so is the wanderlust.. I think I'm just looking forward to traveling a lot this summer, but some of my favorite accounts lately have been the ones giving me the most travel inspiration! I am obsessed with @helloemilie and all of her amazing travels, @dametraveler, and @audreyparisphoto!
