December Instagram Roundup - All Dressed Up

December Instagram Roundup

I know what you're thinking.. it says this roundup is for December right? Why are you in shorts in this photo? Welp, that's because I spent my December in Charleston and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! It was 80 degrees on Christmas day and I could not have been happier about it.

I loved this look because it incorporated winter whites, and I love the contrast of a chunky knit sweater and shorts. Also I just love wearing socks and booties.

This is my parents Papillon, Sophie and she says hello.

Don't you just love fun, festive beanies? I do, which is why I couldn't resist purchasing this adorable "cheers" beanie from Gap Factory. Find it along with this perfect-for-layering, long enough for leggings sweater! They also have an adorable "cheers" sweater which I linked!

Remember this dress from this post? Well here I shared an Instagram only first look! I loved how the blog photos turned out but I also loved this shot because it showed some great details on the dress.

Oh, Charleston. You are so charming. How beautiful was this house all decorated for the holidays? I couldn't resist snapping a photo.

And here was my Christmas look! It was perfect for church, and I just love any excuse to wear a plaid pleated skirt with a red lip!

Caption read "Today's arm party because Santa was good to me this year". I talked about it a little on this post, but I just adore this Kate Spade whale bracelet my sweet, adorable boyfriend surprised me with this year! He knows how obsessed I am with both wildlife and Kate Spade so he knew how much I would love it. And let's not leave out this gorgeous blush pink Kate Spade watch he also surprised me with! I mean wow. And shoutout to my amazing mom who surprised me with this Moon and Lola initial bracelet I had been drooling over for months. #blessed.

I absolutely loved being able to be home during the holidays, but being away from friends (and boyfriend) on New Years Eve was hard. So to make the best of a situation, my mom helped me throw this little impromptu party! Basically we had way too much fun at party city.. we made and hung this banner, sported party hats, wore sequins, drank champagne aaand made homemade pizza and sat on the couch and binged watched our most recent Netflix fav, Broadchurch. Also Chloe, my parents dog, fully enjoyed participated in the festivities if you can tell.

Before our little party began, I snapped this shot and shared how much I LOVE this adorable blush pink, scalloped Kate Spade card holder! I am the worsttt about losing my debit card and/or ID while switching purses. This little baby is a lifesaver for a night out! Find it linked along with my go-to red lipstick!

I have absolutely loved being in Charleston for the past month, and I'm looking forward to seeing Brian and our friends, but it will be hard leaving knowing I won't be coming back until April! I have over a week left here in Charleston, so if you would like to see the overload of palm tree and pink wall photos, follow me on Instagram at @ashncarrington
