Black/Grey/Stripes/Braids - All Dressed Up

Black/Grey/Stripes/Braids

I have to tell you that I was so excited to share this post with you, because I have been literally wearing this comfy t shirt dress so much lately! Don't you love when you find something so cute and so easy to throw on?  Yep me too, and that's why I'm loving this comfy-casual look!

As I said, I have been wearing this dress non-stop lately (honestly, I may need an intervention) but I basically have been wearing everything in this post non-stop lately. I just recently purchased these Sole Society booties and I love love love them! I was looking for a short pair of booties that would be comfy to wear for days I had to do a lot of standing or walking, and these basically just outdid themselves. They are SO comfortable!

I have been loving wearing socks with booties lately, especially with these because they don't come up very high. What do you all think about the trend?!

I have linked a bunch of similar dresses (I got this one at H&M, and it is still available in stores!), similar jackets (this one is from T.J. Maxx!), and everything else is exact. My monogram J. Crew crossbody is sadly sold out in this cognac color, but is still available in black!

Also I was definitely trying to show off my braid a bit, if you can tell *insert cry face emoji*. I love the look of braid crowns, so I have been playing around a bit with different styles! For this one in particular I did a simple Dutch braid starting at the temple of my head, where I parted my hair pretty far to the left, and braided it all the way down to the base of my head. I then did the same thing to the other side, braiding until it met the other braid!

You can find a great tutorial here at ABeautifulMess.com for a simple Dutch briad, but basically it's just a french braid, only you pull the hair underneath instead of over the top! Have you tried a Dutch braid before? How do you like to style it? Feel free to comment below!
